New Video Poker Game Thinks Like A Human
For many players it seemed as if Las Vegas casinos were content with providing the same old slots and video poker and keno games. Although many new versions of slot games have been launched they all work in much the same way. Despite the limitations slot machine jackpots have been enough to lure a steady stream of players. Many new games have been developed using the latest technologies, graphics and animations. Many players are tired of the old style games and younger players demand more features and skill based games.
One game developer has come up with a unique video poker game that mimics human intelligence. The new game is called Texas Hold’em Heads Up Video Poker and uses artificial human intelligence. Most slots and video poker games use a random number generator and sophisticated computer code. Unfortunately even the most sophisticated computer program cannot provide the human interaction of a live poker game. A game design company called International Game Technology wants to change all that. The new game, Texas Hold’em Heads Up Video Poker, has two unique features; it is programmed to think like a human and the game is operated through a video slots game.
Texas Hold’em Heads Up Video Poker has used neural net technology to simulate the human thought process. The game is operated by a mathematical formula that includes human behavioral characteristics. The new game will provide players with features such as bluffing, analyzing play and pausing before acting. When the game is attempting to make a difficult decision the screen reads ‘thinking.’ The new game gives players the ability to play against an opponent that thinks like a human. Texas Hold’em Heads Up is perfect for those that feel intimidated at a live poker table. Hold’em Heads Up Video Poker is already available to the public in Las Vegas.
Before the final table began playing at the World Series of Poker this year International Game Technology made the new game available to the media and visitors. According to some media sources the game was a big hit. Features include the ability to view the computer opponent’s hole cards after non showdown hands, doubling bets, and choosing virtual good luck charms. Experts predict a bright future for neural net technology. Although neural net technology cannot duplicate the process of competition with a live player in the future game developers may be able to mimic the human thought process. Once the technology is perfected players will be able to experience the excitement of participating in a live casino poker game.
